Our Story

J May Sales was built on a simple idea: help hardworking people get more value and productivity out of their trucks.

Founder John May grew up in a farming family where trucks were essential tools used every day to get work done. That practical background shaped his philosophy that equipment should be durable, versatile, and worth the investment.

John is also a 2019 United States Team Penning Association Hall of Famer. Horses have been a lifelong passion, and for many years he traveled across the United States competing while raising his family. Those experiences helped him understand the needs of hardworking people who rely on dependable equipment to earn a living.

In 2006 John discovered the Switch-N-Go interchangeable truck body system. The concept immediately stood out. Instead of owning multiple trucks for different jobs, operators could use one truck and quickly switch between specialized bodies depending on the task.

Recognizing the potential for contractors, landscapers, municipalities, and agricultural operations, John became one of the early Switch-N-Go dealers in the United States.

Today J May Sales distributes Switch-N-Go systems and also develops custom bodies designed to maximize the value of that investment.

Customer service has always been a cornerstone of the business. Around the industry John is known as the "guy who will deliver to you at midnight" if it means helping a customer start work the next morning. How the System Works

The Switch-N-Go system allows truck owners to quickly change bodies depending on the job. A hoist system is installed on your truck chassis. Different bodies can be loaded or unloaded in minutes using the hydraulic system.

This flexibility allows one truck to perform multiple functions throughout the day, dramatically increasing efficiency and return on investment.
